The Forging Ahead music and performance Project is working with three schools in Shropshire, Broseley C of E Primary School, John Wilkinson Primary and Barrow 1618 Primary School. The children will be taking part in music, storytelling, dance and drama activities, led by an amazing group of local musicians and art practitioners. Karen has composed two new songs. "Still the River Flows" is based on the Coalport Ferry Disaster of 1799, based on research by local historian Robert Herrick. "Broseley the Dragon" is based on the pattern of the same name, still used today on Coalport china.
